Karl Marx said that the only way to change the status quo was for the masses to attain ‘class consciousness’.
He said this can only happen when people recognize and discover how society works in order to challenge those in power. Just when there’s enough tension and conflict, social change will erupt. I believe we’re at that step in America. :]
It is my sincere belief that the previous social revolutions misunderstood “the dictatorship of the proletariat” and in doing so fashioned a system of control when they should have given birth to the greatest of freedoms. Karl Marx was right, and the collapse of the first world economies will see the social revolutions that—founded on the internet—will create the greatest surge of humanism, individuality, and ingenuity that humanity has ever known.
