“We need a class system, even animals have alpha males.”
If I remember correctly, the alpha male isn’t on top of society due to the fact he was born with a crown or because he played the stock market to enrich himself.
Stupid people. I still don’t understand how that argument is relevant.
Hierarchy and classes are not one in the same. As social animals, humans always create hierarchy. However, there are many ways in which hierarchy is created. For instance, the Iroquois Confederacy had a system where only men could hold power, but only women could elect and remove them from that power. They created their method of creating hierarchy while also placing a stopgap to remove that hierarchy should it ever become disenfranchising to those being lead.
The natural understand that certain people are better at certain things than others leads to the creation of leadership. Leadership is not something to frown upon, but leadership is not a class system inherently. It is the method used and the material conditions of the system you have created which will create a class. When you remove the systemic functions which require the existence of differential classes you will have achieved a classless society.
